My first contact to Tcl/Tk was in 1996 when I searched a widget set easy to use and powerful in graphics (
canvas) for my
EDA software
Xelen. Soon I were fascinated of it and also programmed many small tools for my desktop.
We are developing electronics and process lines for surface technology (
Electronic Thingks
) and Tcl/Tk helps me to get GUIs very quickly to control and visualize my circuits.
Residence is between Cologne and Koblenz, Germany
